Husseny Bakery is an institution in Pune. It is a bakery several decades old. Their Brun bread is crusty and I like it with butter and jam. Assorted rolls and breads along with a variety of biscuits are available by the kilo. Christmas decorations are up now. This is counter service only. The people who work here are professional and friendly. When I take an auto and mention this bakery the driver instantly knows where to go. The easiest way is to turn right on East Street where George Restaurant is located, cross MG Road and make a left on Taboot Street. This way the fare is cheaper than going all the way down East Street.
Ancestral family home on the same street as this shop; so we've now become close friends with the owners & know about their bakery operation very well - have bought several products from this bakery & we are extremely satisfied customers. Also worth mentioning is their Cake Shop across the road to satisfy customers with a sweet tooth.

This Bakery was established in 1932 and is still running cool. I bought their Shrewsbury and cashew biscuits. They offered me a sample before buying it, that was a very nice gesture. Their biscuits taste awesome.
We bought some OG donuts and biscuits only as part of our 1930s Pune bakery and cafe walk. They were totally amazing and transported us to childhood. To set expectations the flavor and feel is old school and not what you see in new age bakeries - but that is the true experience
As a child the Bakery was always my favorite place, the aroma of freshly baked bread and cookies, the tins getting lined up for baking. A wonderful memory. Food walk with Western Routes brought me back to good old days visiting Husseny Bakery. The owner was kind enough to give us a tour and we purchased some goodies too. The first Bakery I ever came across where you stand in line to wait your turn.
Been getting pizza bases, bread, sweet and savoury treats from here since my childhood. The taste has remained the same and their bread is always so soft, lasting upto days. Definitely recommend
